In a small studio in Northern Germany the first electric powered Mini-Porsche was built in 2002. A silver James-Dean Porsche 550 Spyder, 160 cm long, exactly detailed in scale 1:2,3. Since then, the designer Bernd Pennewitz with his Mini-Porsche has been a legend among model makers. Bernd constructed three different Porsche models. The 550 Spyder, the 356 Speedster and the 904 GTS. He produced dozens of cars, which today are in the hands of enthusiasts and collectors all over the world. He built everything on his own, accurate to the millimeter, by hand with an official Porsche license. 
Bernd Pennewitz was a great designer, husband, father and friend. He died in November 2018.
